Your Data Here

A short, plain account of what this site does and does not do with information about you.

Who is responsible

This site is published by Squad Brick Meadow Editorial Ltd, Company No. 15204873, registered office Unit 4, 61 Hackney Road, London E2 8ET, United Kingdom. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].

What we process

We do not run accounts, newsletters, comment systems or our own analytics, and we do not sell or share data for advertising. The site consists of static pages.

  • Server logs: our hosting provider may record technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested page for security and reliability. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to profile visitors.
  • Local storage: your browser may store a small entry recording your cookie consent choice. It stays on your device and is described on our Cookies page.
  • Emails: if you write to us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply and, where relevant, to correct articles. We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed, normally within 24 months.

How the contact tool works

The field note tool on the Contact page runs entirely in your browser. What you type is turned into a plain-text preview on your device. Copying places it on your clipboard; downloading creates a .txt file on your device. Nothing is sent to us or any server unless you choose to paste the note into an email and send it yourself.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and object to or restrict its processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We will respond to requests within one month.
